How to Print Matrix Diagram
The Matrix Diagram in Visual Paradigm provides a macro view to show the relationships between model elements. This is not limited to model elements having the physical relationship connectors, but also for some more abstract relationships, such as containment, model transitions and even references.
You can printout the Matrix Diagram by export it into a MS Word or PDF document through the Doc. Composer. Doc. Composer is a report composer which allows you to create document just like creating diagram in VP. To export your Matrix Diagram into MS Word or PDF document:
Create a new Doc. Composer by selecting Tools > Doc > Doc. Composer.
Select Build Doc from Scratch when prompt for Create New Document Type.
Since Matrix Diagram is mainly shows in horizontal direction, we can change the orientation of the paper to landscape. Press the Document Properties… button to open the Document Properties dialog.
Switch to Page Setup page, and select Landscape under Page Orientation.
Now go back to Doc. Composer. We can simply drag out the Matrix Diagram from Diagram Navigator and drop it to the Doc. Composer.
Once the matrix is showing on Doc. Composer, we can press the export button at the top right hand corner to export it into printable format, such as MS Word or PDF document.
You can view the interactive version of this trick in YouTube.
