Why Textual Content in Wireframe not fully shown on Linux

Visual Paradigm’s project file always compatible between different platforms. i.e. your works created on Microsoft Windows can opened on Linux or Mac without any distortions. But when working on wireframes, you may notices a situation that the textual content looks differently on Linux with the original one created on a Microsoft Windows…

This actually is not a problem, but just caused by the font used by MS Windows to create wireframe is not available on Linux. By default wireframes will use the font Comic Sans MS, unfortunately this font is not bundled in Linux by default. In this case the system try to pick a closest font to display the wireframe which generated some differences. To solve this problem you can simply install correct font with the following command.

sudo apt-get -y install msttcorefonts

* You will need to have administrator permission in order to install the font

Once the font is installed, restart VP-UML or Agilian and you will then see the wireframe look exactly the same as on Microsoft Windows.

After install the font the wireframe looks just as good as in Microsoft Windows.
