When we generate a report for diagrams (e.g. use case diagram), sometimes we need a specific order in which the elements appear on the reports. In some cases, our needs cannot be met by using standard sorting orders available (e.g. alphabetical, tree hierarchal). This is where you want to customize your own order list.
